Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri): Modern research has validated what Ayurveda knew for millennia. A 2012 study in Phytotherapy Research found brahmi extract significantly increased hair follicle proliferation — the cellular activity responsible for new hair growth. Brahmi's bacosides also reduce scalp inflammation, which is a primary driver of hair follicle miniaturisation (the mechanism behind pattern baldness).
Amla (Phyllanthus emblica): Amla contains the highest Vitamin C concentration of any food — over 600mg per 100g.
