Our A2 Desi Cow Ghee is made by the traditional Bilona churning method — the only method that produces genuine ghee with the full Ayurvedic profile. The process: A2 cow milk → culture into curd → churn to extract white butter → slow heat white butter → pure bilona ghee.
This method, specified in the Charaka Samhita, produces ghee with a grainy texture, golden-amber colour, and rich nutty aroma that instantly distinguishes it from commercially produced ghee (made by direct cream method, which skips the curd-churning stage and loses most nutritional benefits).
A2 designation means the milk comes from indigenous desi cow breeds (Gir, Sahiwal, Tharparkar) that produce milk with A2 beta-casein protein — considered more easily digestible and less inflammatory than A1 milk from crossbred or HF cows.
